Annual Senior Luncheon

Mayor Thomas had a great time sharing, laughing and engaging with the elders of our community at the 73rd Thanksgiving luncheon at the Armory this past Monday.

The seniors had the opportunity to meet Rev. Gwendolyn Wilson, the newly appointed Director for the Office of the Aging. She will help provide programming and health initiatives to better serve and meet the needs of our seniors.

The Office of the Aging and the Recreation Dept run the senior luncheon every year. There were 150 seniors in attendance. Turkey dinners were served and raffles were called to win care packages and a money tree.
