Comptroller Reynolds’ Shameful Remarks

Comptroller Deborah Reynolds’ insulting and demeaning remarks directed to members of our dedicated workforce are unacceptable. I stand beside our police, fire, public works and other municipal employees who work hard every day to keep our city safe, secure, and running smoothly.

At a forum on Thursday, December 20, 2018, a DPW Garage Superintendent raised concerns that Comptroller Reynolds’ inaction had resulted in a dozen vendors cutting off the city for non-payment. She lambasted him, telling him he was just “a worker”.
