Mount Vernon and you had a big day yesterday.

Congratulations. I am confident you will do a good job as Mayor.

Please continue to build upon the hard-fought progress and stick with independence for the People. My dream is that the old guard does not put you through hell. Do not let their attacks on my administration distract or discourage you from doing right by our beloved city.

Best of luck in challenges ahead, old and new. Being Mayor is an awesome privilege. Have fun and keep the faith!
