Mainstreet Boxing Contenders Bring Home Another Championship to Mount Vernon
On June 29th, Mayor Richard Thomas and the Department Planning and Community Development hosted the Mount Vernon Housing Fair, which brought together housing and legal service providers.
Last week, Mayor Richard Thomas awarded 26 scholarships to college students from Mount Vernon.The 26 college students received $2,000 scholarships for the 2019–20 academic year. The awards will be dispersed directly to the schools in $1,000 increments each semester.
