Mayor Thomas Holds Mount Vernon Immigration Public Forum

On Sunday, February 11, 2018, Mayor Richard Thomas held a public forum on immigration and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) at Our Lady of Victory Church. The forum featured a presentation from Professor Lenni Benson of New York Law School, founder and director of the Safe Passage Project. Professor Benson gave a talk about how the immigration process works and what challenges and potential pitfalls exist for those trying to navigate the extremely complicated immigration system.
