COMPTROLLER REYNOLDS HELD ACCOUNTABLE!!!

THE PEOPLE WON!

Today, the PEOPLE of Mount Vernon won. HONORABLE JUDGE SUSAN CACACE, Supreme Court of the State of New York, Westchester County issued a nine-page decision in favor of Mayor Richard Thomas. Mayor Thomas was steadfast and kept fighting for the PEOPLE!

“This court finds that the drafters of the City Charter clearly expressed their intention…to vest authority in the Mayor of the City of Mount Vernon to himself examine, or to designate other competent individuals to examine the books and records of all departments of the City, including the Comptroller’s Office, the Finance Department and any bank account owned by the city as often as he wishes to do so, and without first being required to provide notice to the Comptroller’s Office,” Cacace wrote in her decision.

MAYOR NOW HAS ACCESS!

Comptroller Reynolds must afford the Mayor, and his designees, online access to all of the City’s bank accounts for EXAMINATION of ALL ACCOUNTS, AT ALL TIMES, without notice, as often as the Mayor, or his designated official seems it necessary. Additionally, Reynolds must designate the Mayor, and his designated officials, authorized users of the JPMAccess online platform at Chase to facilitate and enable the Mayors access to review and examine the Chase bank accounts.

“This is a major victory for transparency, because for the first time in a quarter century we’re going to start being able to see real details,” Mayor Thomas said on the “Good Morning Westchester” program today. “I’m really looking forward to being able to construct what’s going on, because the people of Mount Vernon have been unjustly suffering at the hands of the people that just want power. This is a real blow to that power structure.”

Bob Marrone, host of “Good Morning Westchester,” also called Cacace’s decision a victory for Mayor Thomas.

“It’s always been his assertion that he could not see them,” Marrone said of Mayor Thomas’ inability to see all of Mount Vernon’s financial records. “Well, obviously the court agrees that he could not see them and the court agrees that he has every right to see them.”

NY STATE COMPTROLLER & ETHICS IS NO HELP!

Earlier this year, the NY State Comptroller and Board of Ethics abandoned their duty to audit, investigate, uncover and help, Veteran Democrats offered NO support nor action to help and instead placed obstacles and distractions in the way of justice, even MV City Council President Wallace and Albany hated on Mount Vernon’s people and do their job to save the people from ROGUE COMPTROLLER Reynolds. Even with all those obstacles against the city,

JUSTICE, the PEOPLE of Mount Vernon, and Mayor Thomas PREVAILED.

JAIL or RESPECT JUSTICE!

The question is, now will Comptroller Reynolds abide by the ruling in favor of the People, or be arrested?

CITY COUNCIL MUST ACT TO FIRE COMPTROLLER!

Will the MV City Council finally hold Reynolds accountable and TAKE CITY CHARTER ACTION TO GET RID OF HER? At the very least require her to get bonded immediately?

Will Governor Cuomo take action and get rid of Reynolds- a plague on the people?

MAYOR THOMAS STOPPED DISASTER!

Under Mayor Thomas’s leadership we stopped Mount Vernon being another bankrupt College of New Rochelle, as he stated on the “Good Morning Westchester” program today.

MOODY CREDIT REPORT!

Now maybe we can get to the business of doing business, making payments in a timely fashion, making payments PERIOD, and get our MOODY CREDIT RATING RETURNED TO OUR CITY.

THANK YOU!!!

Thank you Bishop Edwers, Pastor Marriott, and other clergy who stood up for the people. Thank you Teamsters & CSEA, thank you Commissioners for standing up with Mayor Thomas against obstruction, corruption and Comptroller Reynolds holding the City of Mount Vernon, Critical Services and the People hostage and paralyzing the city.

GOD BLESS AMERICA AND GOD BLESS MOUNT VERNON.
