Mount Vernon Welcomes Retro 520 Diner

Mayor Thomas officially welcomed the new Retro 520 Diner to the Mount Vernon Family on Thursday with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The new diner, owned by Phil DeRaffele, has been completely redesigned, featuring an open spacious design, and a full menu from 24 hour breakfast to a full lineup of Instagram worthy gourmet milkshakes and everything in between.

Mount Vernon is open for business, and that’s clear to businesses from all over who are looking at Mount Vernon as a new long term home. Mr. DeRaffele saw the great opportunity in Mount Vernon, and jumped on it with a 30 year lease. He’s here for the long term, and Mount Vernon pledges to be there to support his and all the businesses in our city.
