Recap of Board of Estimate and Contract Meeting — Tuesday, August 14, 2018

Today, Tuesday August 14, 2018, Mayor Richard Thomas joined by City Council President Lisa Copeland held the regularly scheduled Board of Estimate and Contract Meeting in the Mayor’s Conference Room. Comptroller Deborah Reynolds was not present for the meeting.

The agenda originally included four items under the category of Resolutions Approving Ordinances. The items were:

1. Authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with Just Inspire.

2. Granting permission to the Department of Recreation to sponsor Summer Breeze Concerts and events, accept donations and hang banners.

3. Authorizing the transfer of funds from the Department of Finance to the Department of Planning & Community Development. ($52,000)

4. Authorizing the re-classification, transfer, and issuance of health benefits to the Planning Commissioner.

All four items were passed unanimously. The board members moved to recess the meeting until additional items could be prepared for the agenda from the August 8th City Council Meeting as add-ons. The board is scheduled to be reconvened this afternoon, expected at 12:15 p.m.
