VETERANS ATTACKED BY WALLACE/REYNOLDS ILLEGAL BUDGET

Good Evening Mount Vernon:

The 2019 Budget process is likely to head to Court as Veteran’s Service Director Kristyn Reed puts City Council President Wallace and Comptroller Deborah Reynolds on notice that she intends to sue them for ILLEGALLY cutting her salary and services to Mount Vernon Veterans.

Here are some key facts to figure:

FACT: Wallace/Reynolds REMOVED $3Million from Employee’s Health Benefits to make their fake number look real.

FACT: Then Wallace/Reynolds ELIMINATED at least 6 jobs, occupied by real, hard-working folks, ILLEGALLY firing them.

FACT: Reynolds NEPOTISM with a $50,000 RAISE for her Daughter’s Baby Daddy, meanwhile Veterans are attacked in the Wallace/Reynolds ILLEGAL budget.

NOT SURPRISING there is a lawsuit brewing against the ILLEGAL BUDGET.

Mayor Thomas warned them that their budget was a bad deal for Mount Vernon and flat out ILLEGAL. Now they are trying to force through their ILLEGAL BUDGET no matter what the People say.

THERE IS NO LOGIC, RHYME OR REASON. ONLY POLITICS OVER PEOPLE.

Mayor Thomas is calling them back to the table to adopt a LEGAL and RESPONSIBLE BUDGET that is under-the-tax-cap and meets immediate requirements under the Clean Water Act.
